Mindfulness is the practice of truly being in the present moment: aware, accepting, appreciative, patient, trusting, non-judging. It is a doorway to calmness and to knowing, being and loving who you really are, rather that who you were or who you may be trying to be. It is noticing our thoughts and feelings, choosing what to let go of, keeping what is helpful to us and learning how to respond rather than react.
