Experience

As an experienced qualified teacher, Assistant Head, Senior Leader and SENDCO, I have an in-depth understanding of how children learn and how to tailor and adapt approaches to meet the needs of the individual child.

I am an experienced educator and have a proven track record in effectively supporting and challenging learners. By understanding the child’s individual strengths and needs, using evidence based approaches, drawing on their interests and understanding any emotional barriers to learning I can offer a holistic approach that will enable each child to make accelerated progress and achieve their very best.

Special Educational Needs

I have particular experience in supporting children with a range of additional needs including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, motor skills difficulties and Speech and Language difficulties. I also have a keen interest in memory and metacognition strategies and how these can empower children as learners.
